Every once in a while I come across a deal that I have to share. Here are a couple for Easter that are good deals. My kids love Melissa and Doug. AmericanFamily.com Melissa and Doug Enter to win a $500 Melissa & Doug Shopping Spree.
And a couple candy coupons. This year we decided to not give as much Candy, but instead fill with games and color bubbles as basket fillers.
Here is a cute little recipe you can make with your kids and if you are religious share the story of Resurrection.
Resurrection Rolls
Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 large marshmallows
Melted butter
Cinnamon
Sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Separate crescent rolls into individual triangles. If you can fin the big and flaky ones, the marshmallows will fit better)
In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar.
Dip a marshmallow into melted butter, then roll in sugar mixture. Place marshmallow into the center of a dough triangle. Carefully wrap the dough around the marshmallow. Pinch the seams together very tightly to seal in the marshmallow as it melts (or cut a bit of the marshmallow off to fit). Place on a baking sheet. Repeat.
Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
Makes Eight Resurrection Rolls
Make sure you seal the seams really well. If you don’t, the marshmallow will ooze out the sides, which is just fine in our home. You have the option of making the rolls bigger by using two crescent roll, but still use one marshmallow. This way, the marshmallow won’t come out at all. Have the kids play around with making these. On some of them we wanted the empty tomb effect, so we left a little part of the roll open but made sure the side had a little lip to contain the melted mallow.
As I sort through all these beautiful family memories that my Grandma had saved, I am always looking for wonderful ways to organize these photos to better share our families story. One software I have found is Heritage Collector software does all this. You Can Organize, find, and share your Photos.
With the Heritage Collector Professional Suite software program makes organizing your photos and digital images easy to share. This program allows you to:
Version 7.0 boxed costs 29.95 and download is 24.95, the nice thing is you can download the free version to try out the software and won’t be disappointed. If you have boxes and boxes like I do, than this is the software to help you get organized. Here are just a few boxes at my Aunts house we need to sort through. We scanned on my Flip pal 579 photos and didn’t even place a dent in the amount of photos we have still to go through.
IdeaShifters Smartphone Panel – Is looking for smart phone users to give feedback and get rewarded! I love answering survey because I make money off of something that I already do. Use their product!
