Preserving your Memories
Here is one of the newest Templates I have created for Touched by a Butterfly, Home Sweet Home template. Some of the newest family photos I received this last week were a perfect fit for this template.

Last month my computer crashed, thankfully I had already backed up all my photos and didn’t lose to much. Now I have a new computer and in the process of placing things back onto my laptop, I rediscovered so many old family photos.
Touched by a Butterfly has been creating so many wonderful antique style kits this last month. Sparkle and Shine was the perfect kit to highlight some photos of my Ancestors. Here is a 4 page template I created using her full kit Sparkle and Shine.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and Black Friday. There are many things that I absolutely love about My Memories, it is easy, quick, classy, and the designers always have lovely layouts that add such beauty to my photos. Plus each week they offer freebies, both on Facebook and on their site. Here is the latest freebies for this week, it is in .PNG format and can be used with or without the software.
I took a photo of my Great Grandparents Raymond F. Durbin and Ula Mae Akin Durbin on their Wedding day and used the newest freebie to add a new page to their scrapbook. My Great Grandma’s sister Ida Faith had hand painted their wedding photo. My Aunt Theresa gave it to me during my last visit and I used my Flip-pal scanner to scan in the photo. It didn’t need any editing at all.
These are the two new free layouts for this week. Each embellishment can be mixed and matched with each kit. The sizes are flexible and can be changed to any size you want your scrapbook to be. has several wonderful quality Royality free stock photo’s and more. iStockphoto is the original source for the user-generated, royality-free stock photos, illustrations, videos, audio and flash. No matter what you are looking for you can find it there. And to add to a wonderful program it is affordable, free to join.
